We are delighted to announce that THE DEAD, 1904, will return for a seven-week run beginning in November of 2024 at the American Irish Historical Society!

THE DEAD, 1904, adapted by Jean Hanff Korelitz and Paul Muldoon from James Joyce's immortal story, "The Dead", was produced by Dot Dot Productions LLC for The Irish Repertory Theatre and performed at The American Irish Historical Society in 2016 and 2017. The immersive adaptation included a full meal, catered by Great Performances. The script is published by Gallery Press, Ireland. For more about the production, including reviews, press, and information on mounting your own production, please see our website: thedead1904.com

Stephen Colbert and Keegan-Michael Key discuss their experience at THE DEAD, 1904

A thoughtful piece by LitHub on adapting (with Paul Muldoon) Joyce’s masterpiece for an immersive play.

Dot Dot Productions, LLC (Jean Hanff Korelitz and Nina Korelitz Matza) will continue to mount THE DEAD, 1904 in New York City and would love to bring the production to other locations. We are also developing other theater projects, both immersive and traditional.
